2018 Star of Hope: Dr. Nicholas Argento

Dr. Nicholas Argento is a highly regarded Endocrinologist at Maryland Endocrine in Columbia, Maryland.  Celebrating his own 50th “diaversary” this year, Dr. Argento has a firsthand relationship and understanding of type 1 diabetes, making his practice the amazing leader and entity that it is. Dr. Argento has been in practice for over 20 years and has treated many members of our own JDRF community.

His office has been involved in the JDRF One Walk for over a decade, raising thousands of dollars for T1D research and spreading awareness to hundreds of local families. He has presented numerous times at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions and other medical meetings, as well as to local, national, and international audiences on insulin pumps and the clinical application of CGM technology.

His work, outstanding care, knowledge he offers his patients, and continued support for JDRF is unparalleled and the JDRF Maryland Chapter is thrilled to name him our Star of Hope for the 31st Annual Maryland Hope Gala.
